DirectVoxx NewsDirectVoxx SmartDock™ Connectivity Solution for Automotive
DirectVoxx and Foryou General Electronics (FGE) of China have signed a global marketing agreement in which Foryou will market DirectVoxx SmartDock™ and speech technologies to its roster of premiere automotive brands worldwide. FGE is also adapting DirectVoxx SmartDock™ technologies for use in its domestic brand supporting both iPhone and oPhone devices.
FGE CEO Edward Li and DirectVoxx Chairman Casey Pechet signed the agreement on March 19 in Huizou, China while preparing for several product releases featuring these technologies. Two New DirectVoxx Powered Car Infotainment Products from Audiovox DirectVoxx is shipping its advanced media speech interface PLUS SmartDock™ connectivity interface in two new Audiovox Jensen car infotainment systems in June 2010. These products include SmartDock™ Internet Radio, QuickSpeech and some other goodies that will change the game in aftermarket automotive. Watch out for these products... Aftermaket infotainment will never be the same! Multi-Language Speech Recognition and Text To Speech Multi-Language speech recognition and TTS support is underway. DirectVoxx will be shipping three new languages in Q3. All DirectVoxx speech products will be available in either stanadalone configurations or through the SmartDock™ framework so application developers can easily use our advanced speech tools easily through simple APIs.
