Challenging tasks including supporting existing advanced speech recognition solutions and custom communication protocols for device interoperability and porting solutions to/from Cocoa Touch devices to Android/WINCE devices. Full-time Senior Speech Developer (Calgary)
If you have extensive experience designing and implementing state-of-the-art ASR and TTS engines, and you're looking for a ground floor opportunity with a fast moving automotive technology company, read on. DirectVoxx is looking for a self-directed, high bandwidth individual who can add features such as high accuracy word spotting, and international language support to our automotive ASR system. You'll also own the development of our proprietary, high quality TTS and provide technical support to ongoing projects utilizing our existing ASR codebase. Candidates must have a Masters or PhD in the speech technology domain, at least one year of commercial product development experience, excellent C/C++ coding skills, a solid understanding of linguistics and a passion for making everyday customers' lives easier. Embedded development experience is a plus.
