SpeechOf course, DirectVoxx speech solutions are available as standalone products in support of existing infotainment functionality. DirectVoxx was the first company to implement an advanced, natural language speech recognition device for the iPod. The standalone device synchronized with the iPod/iPhone and using Apple's iAP protocol, allowed speech commands to control all aspects of the iPod/iPhone's media library. This technology demonstrated DirectVoxx's leadership in mobile inter-device communication and speech recognition excellence. Our speech technology is now deployed on various platforms ranging from consumer electronics to tactical solutions. DirectVoxx TTS technology is similarly available along with support for building custom voices to uniquely brand partner products. DirectVoxx distinguishes itself by working closely with partners to optimize speech recognition and TTS performance. Our broad range of experience in building hardware and developing software permits is to solve complex technical problems across the entire architecture, making embedded device integration more manageable and, ultimately, less expensive.
